General description of the project

Aim: To facilitate and promote the development of civic society in Kurzeme through strengthening the organization’s core business, NGO cooperation and information networks in Kurzeme, as well as implementing the research of NGO sector in municipalities and promoting good management practices.

Place for implementation: Kurzeme

Implementation period: 05.07.2013. – 31.12.2015.

Total cost: 59 996.39 EUR, EEA grants co-financing: 53783.70 EUR

  • Provision of main activity of the organization
  • NGO cooperation in Kurzeme, the information and network strengthening and maintenance
  • Research “Characteristics of civic society in Kurzeme 2013”
  • Report “Municipality practice for NGO development in Kurzeme 2013”
  • Conference “Municipality and NGO collaboration in Kurzeme 2013”
  • Training for NGOs and active residents of Kurzeme

  • Activated, expanded organization, enhanced its visibility and collaboration with other organizations
  • Strengthened and expanded cooperation network of Kurzeme NGOs
  • Strengthened and expanded information network of Kurzeme NGOs
  • Organized15 years’ anniversary event
  • Prepared a research ” Characteristics of civic society in Kurzeme 2013”
  • Prepared the report “Municipality practice for NGO development in Kurzeme 2013”
  • Organized conference “Municipality and NGO collaboration in Kurzeme 2013”
  • Training for NGOs and active residents of Kurzeme
